2nd FESTISUB – The Festival of underwater pictures in Neuchâtel, Switzerland
 

The second edition of Festibub, the Festival of underwater pictures, was held in Neuchâtel on the evening of Friday 7th of February and the whole day on Saturday 8th.

The audience came many, especially during the two evenings and the crowd could watch various films, going from high level documentaries, to clips with numerous special effects to very successful humorous productions. All these films have won awards these last few years at the World Festival of Underwater Pictures in Antibes, prestigious godfather of the demonstration.

Authentic Diving took part in it for the first time with the first two films that we carried out : "Memories of Tignards" (Friday night and Saturday afternoon) then "Coral Reefs from Mabul and Sipadan" (Saturday evening), both won awards in different festivals and were warmly applauded by the public, which touched us a lot

The festival took place in a formula without a competition between the different films presented, this gives the directors the possibility to express themselves in front of the public and to make the introduction of their film, which is always an appreciated moment making it possible to briefly explain the wished intention

We particularly noticed the cordial and convivial reception of the organizers who, for a second edition, show much professionalism, worthy of a festival old of several years. For our part, we have already made an appointment for the third edition in 2004, where we hope to be able to present new productions, namely 2 clips of approximately 5 minutes and a documentary film of 26 minutes.

And a sincere long life for this festival !
 
 

2nd FESTISUB – Neuchâtel, 7th & 8th of February 2003
 

The second edition of the festival for underwater picture in Neuchâtel will take place next Friday 7th and Saturday 8th of February.

We will be present for the whole duration of the demonstrations in order to be able to present to the public our two films that will be projected, Friday at 19 :30 and Saturday at 14 :00 for "Memories of Tignards", and Saturday at 19 :30 for "Coral Reefs from Mabul and Sipadan".

We encourage many of you to come discover the magnificent underwater images at one of the rare festivals of this kind in Switzerland.

In addition, among the exhibitors you will have the occasion to meet a manufacturer of underwater video housings (which we particularly appreciate), an importer of diving material, a travel agency, a painter, a photographer…
